P.S. I am probably in the minority but as a visual person I much prefer written posts, audio often feels too overwhelming for me, and even intrusive if I am in the room with other people. It's why I only listen to podcasts when I walk, that's when I feel I can give them my full attention. Having said this, I think it's nice to offer audio versions as well for those who are visually impaired, this way they can still enjoy your beautiful writing.
This is lovely. The photo of the geese is beautiful. When we moved to our house this summer I didn't realized that we also would be hearing and seeing lots of flocks of Canada geese. Apart from feeling a little anxious about the little planes that fly around here it was a beautiful sight and sound. I hadn't read that poem in a long while, thanks for sharing it. Her words are always so strangely comforting. xo
Thank you! I find I regularly come back to her words as touchstones, because, yes, they are always strangely comforting. Glad you enjoyed reading "Wild Geese" again!
I enjoyed hearing your voice.
Thanks Deborah! I'm enjoying creating the recordings, so I think I'm probably going to continue doing so.
A belated happy birthday to you xxx (I like having the choice so that my mood can be indulged 😄.)
Thanks! (Is that a neurodivergent thing? It feels like it might be—at least for my neurodivergent mind choice seems like the perfect option.)
I don’t know! Maybe!

I hear you. I'm in the same visual boat, as it were. Thank you for your thoughtful feedback!
